Przygotowanie płótna to projekt z udziałem publiczności i bar, który jest głównym miejscem spotkań artystów i gości Łódź Biennale. Celem projektu jest przekształcenie istniejących na murach graffiti o negatywnym przesłaniu ("Kilka uwag o gwiazdach") i śmieciowych odpadów w pozytywną i kreatywną energię miasta.
Preparing the Canvas is a participatory project and bar, which provides the central gathering point for artists and visitors at the Lodz Biennale. Preparing the Canvas transforms the negative graffiti and waste of Lodz into a positive affirmation of its creative energy and talent.
Graffiti o negatywnym przesłaniu należy sfotografowac i wysłać na reifenberg@biennalelodz.pl. Fotografie te będą publikowane na stronie. Zdjęcie graffiti własnego autorstwa (lub ściągnięte ze strony) można twórczo przekształcić w znak o pozytywnym przesłaniu i odesłać na reifenberg@biennalelodz.pl.
Take pictures of negative graffiti and send it on reifenberg@biennalelodz.pl. We are invited to download any of the negative graffiti images, transform their messages from negative to positive and send it on reifenberg@biennalelodz.pl.
Wiosną 2010, Reifenberg zachęca Łodzian do zbierania śmieci z podwórek i ulic miejskich, które potem należy przynieść do Baru Biennale. Reifenberg zmieni tam wszystkie odpady w stoły i krzesła, aby umeblować i ukształtować przestrzeń.
In Spring 2010, Reifenberg invites the people of Lodz to collect trash from the yards and streets of the city, and to bring it to the Biennale Bar, where Reifenberg will transform this waste into tables and chairs to furnish and create the space.
